Noran Neurological Clinic takes pleasure in welcoming Oliver K. Ni, MD!
Doctor Oliver Ni completed a three year fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, where he received post graduate training in neuromuscular diseases, clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular pathology. He also obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from the Washington University School of Medicine during his time in St. Louis. Doctor Ni joins the Noran Clinic with over 10 years of practice experience, including his previous roles as director of the multi-disciplinary Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic, neuromuscular pathology laboratory, and EMG/NCS/neuromuscular ultrasound laboratory with exemplary accredited status.
Doctor Ni is board certified in neurology by the American Academy of Neurology, with subspecialty certification in neuromuscular medicine. He is also board certified by the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine in the subspecialty of electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG/nerve conduction studies). Doctor Ni’s practice focus will include general neurology, neuromuscular disorders and EMG/NCS with neuromuscular ultrasound. He also has expertise in botulinum toxin injection procedures with EMG and ultrasound guidance for a variety of disorders, including cervical dystonia, limb dystonia, upper and lower limb spasticity, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, sialorrhea, hyperhidrosis and chronic migraine.
In addition to his outpatient practice at Noran Clinic, Doctor Ni will also have a joint appointment at Hennepin County Medical Center in the neuromuscular pathology laboratory. He enjoys cooking, running, anything related to basketball, and spending time with his wife, children and dogs.
