Sara Woelflin and Dr. Susan Evans on Fox 9 News

We hope you had a chance to watch the story that aired on Sunday, June 7th on Fox 9 news about a wonderful young woman, who also has Multiple Sclerosis, getting ready to walk down the aisle.

At the time of a sudden onset of extremely severe symptoms culminating in a coma, doctors were uncertain whether Sara Woelflin would survive. With the help of a team of hospital doctors including on-call Noran Clinic neurologist Dr. Evans, she began a number of MS therapies. Her efforts combined with an amazing response to these therapies allowed her to surpass initial expectations and walk down the aisle at her wedding. Dr. Susan Evans says, “…she is a wonderful, wonderful example of how far the treatment has come in Multiple Sclerosis, and hopefully all neurologic diseases.”
